Kandamby, Kaushal Silva – New Players in Team Sri Lanka

Kandamby, the consistent and the best player in form for Sri Lankan Team in ODIs has been selected for Test Matches to be played in India. Kandamby has scored 618 runs from 17 ODIs at an average of 44.14 including five half-centuries. The consistenecy in the ODI has gifted him test cap for Sri Lanka.

Another player Kaushal Silva has been granted test cap for the test series against India. Kaushal Silva was unable to enter the team because of presence of Prasaana Silva as an wicket keeper which Captain Sangakarra himself admitted later.

SreeSanth and Zaheer back in the Team

Agreesive SreeSanth got another chance on Tuesday’s announcement for first two test matches against sri lanka starting just after India vs Australia 7 Match ODI Series.

Selectors have also recalled India’s most effective fast bowler Zaheer after long injury putting him outside the ground. His service has been missed by Team India for around 4 Months.

Team Squad exclude any extra specialist wicket keeper aside from MS Dhoni. Rahul Dravid and Laxman are again in the team while M Vijay and Badrinath have got another chance.
